Background

The Tenney Building was constructed in 1929. It was the first modern, steel frame high-rise to be built in Madison. It is notable for its many art deco details, such as stone relief carvings and the metal and glass lanterns that top the structure.

Model References

The model was constructed using Autodesk Maya v8 with photographs used as references. No building blueprints were used so the model is an approximation of the actual building. The primary reference photographs used were those I had taken on a vacation to Madison in 2002.
